Rzhavskiy (rus: Ржавский)
What Polish surname does this come from? I assume it is from Polish surname.bearer: https://infodon.org.ua/gss/zolotye-zvezdy-donbassa-rjzavskiy-nikita-haritonovich - nikita kharitonovich rzhavskiy

Based on orthographical rules, the Polish name would be Rżawski, but the only examples I can find of this name are transcriptions from the Russian surname or Ukrainian Ржавський. I think it is far more likely a native Russian habitational surname from Rzhava (see: https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ржава_(значения) ).
