What is your background? Are you or the bearer of the surname you know from a Hindu country? Because there are two possibilities:
1) It is a Hindu surname, most hits on the net
2) It could perhaps be German, because I saw also the surnames Sambach and Samberg and bad is used in German places (Bad Bramstedt, Wiesbaden) and Samberg is also a Dutch surname, a variant of Zandbergen. Sambach could thus be a variant of Zandbeek. Sambad i haven't figured out yet, but bad in German placenames refers to water nearby, often a lake.
