Sean thanks. I did find some other information that pointed to Norwegian. Foss is the only record we have for my wife. She was adopted and those records are sealed. She was adopted into a Swedish surname and they were told at the time that she was Scandinavian. So, it is possible Norwegian. Thanks again.
