http://www.ancestry.com/learn/facts/fact.aspx?&fid=10&ln=Hebbe&fn=I would add to the above that Hebb and Hebbes are English surnames. Hebb is a diminutive of male given name Herbert, as, I imagine are Hebbes and Hebbe, if the last is found as an English surname.
