My brother's wife's maiden name is Dalla Valle. She doesn't know her family tree, or where they came from. It could possibly be Italian, because her grandfather is Italian. They are Caucasian. Any help would be appriciated. The origin and meaning of the name is all we are looking for!

This surname comes from a place name. "Valle" in italian means "valley". It comes basically from VENETO region. The area of VICENZA, a city 50 km west of VENICE.
