... when people cannot be bothered to string a few words together to make a sentence when requiring information about a name?
It means that the barbarians are at the gates. It means that these people don't really care about names or anything else. It means that I will no longer respond to people who bark out orders like a drill sergeant. "Origin." "Meaning." No longer sufficient to elicit a pavlovian response from your humble servant. I know that literacy is no longer held in high esteem in this age of texting and smiley faces, but but let us not descend to the written equivalent of grunting and grimacing.
No doubt the person who takes responsibility for keeping this site tidy will remove my little rant. Well those are the rules of the game, but my grievance is aired.
