My last name is Klebba, and I've always been told it was a Polish name because our family is Polish (from the Gdansk area). I'm trying to find out for certain what my name means. My dad thinks it might have something to do with the word "Chleb" (Bread?). However, he says that the spelling of our name wasn't changed when his family came to the US. Even in Poland, it was already Klebba. So, I'm confused and trying to figure this thing out. Does anyone have any ideas on what the name Klebba means? Thanks!
