Byrd

This was the maiden name of Sara Joanne Byrd Rogers, a.k.a. the wife of Mr Fred McFeely Rogers from “Mr Rogers’ Neighborhood” on PBS. She was an accomplished pianist & a mother of two sons, & she had a Master of Music from Florida State University. She & Mr Rogers were faithfully married for 52 years until he passed away from stomach cancer in 2003.
