Johnnie Lee Cochran Jr. (1937-2005) was a prominent and incredibly gifted criminal defense lawyer, best known for representing O.J. Simpson, who was accused of the murders of Nicole Brown and her friend, Ron Goldman, yet ultimately acquitted after nine months, in what has been dubbed the “Trial of The Century.” Cochran also represented many other high-profile defendants, such as Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg and Todd Bridges. He is remembered as one of the greatest lawyers in history. May he rest in peace.
