The translation for "Fürst" is highly inaccurate. Prince = The son of a monarch. A "Fürst" however is a ruler around as powerful as a count or lord. I think the common mistranslation leads from the part of the bible where "The Prince of Darkness" (Satan) is translated in German as "Der Fürst der Dunkelheit". However I find translating "Fürst" as "prince" highly misleading. [noted -ed]
