Anthony Frederick "Tony" Levin (1946–) is an American musician and composer, specializing in electric bass, Chapman Stick, upright bass, and "funk fingers" he invented. Levin was a prolific session musician, and is known for his associations with King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, Liquid Tension Experiment, Bruford Levin Upper Extremities, HoBoLeMa, and Stick Men. Levin is listed on Paste magazine's 20 Most Underrated Bass Guitarists (2011), and on Rolling Stone's 50 Greatest Bassists of All Time (2020).
