Georg Hugo Richard Peitsch (1878–1951) was a German gymnast.[1] He competed at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris and the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis. He moved to the United States following the 1904 Olympics and became a gymnastics teacher in Philadelphia, while continuing to be a gymnast himself. He was said to have gained national prominence in the US for his gymnastic talents, being described as one of the "most outstanding" in the sport in the country.
