A known bearer of this name is Maximillian Goof, or Max Goof, a Disney cartoon character from Goof Troop, and the 1995 Disney animated film A Goofy Movie. It is also the name of the "Goof family", a group of families that belong to the Goof name. Goofy serves as the principal founder of the Goof family, and Amos Goofy serves as the main founder of the Goof family.
