Does anyone know the origin of the Italian surname pocetti? I have seen variants spelled pacetty or pocetty and was wondering if there was a connection between those names and pocetti. Do surnames naturally change over time, I have also been unable to locate the name origin of pacetty or pocetty. Do you think that all of these names are derivative of each other? They all phonetically sound the same.
