Sutovic
Hi everyone,
I was recently looking through my family tree and came across Sutovic/Sutoevic. I believe it is Eastern European in origin (perhaps Russian, Ukrainian, or Hungarian) but I'm not 100% sure. Any information would be much appreciated! Thanks
Edited to add: Another consideration, Serbian?

The surname Šutović (Шутовић) is Serbian. The origin could be the placenames Šutovo and Šutovica in Macedonia which is just to the south of Serbia.
Serbian. Šutović is correct way to spell it :)
