Kyd's full name is Kyd Miller, and he has a big sister named Madelaine West btw.

I dislike the names on the whole myself, but I got to point out that they're called by their mns.

Kyd was named after Thomas Kyd, a 16th-century playwright (see here: http://snipurl.com/axmk). David admired Thomas's writings, apparently. Miller was David's mother's maiden name.

I don't know where West and Madelaine came from. I wish they'd spelled it Madeleine though.

Madelaine West is after sex symbol Mae West...

Although there is an Aussie actress and stand-up comedienne by the same name.

Yeah, I read an interview with her and she called her daughter Westie. Please, why not Maddie?
