'Loo' is a toilet in England :-/
common nickname is Lola and I think it's pretty :-)

Well I'm in England and I sometimes get called Lou as a nn. No one's ever called me 'toilet' instead!

Lew (pronounced "loo") as a nickname for Lauren?

'Loo' is used for 'toilet' in Australia too.

So no I would so now use it as a nn for Lauren. I've known Laurens nicknamed Loz / Lozza and Lolly. At least being called candy is better than being called toilet.
