I don't know, if you'd ever heard how to pronounce Dagmar? If you haven't then here's the way for that:
It's pronounced like dav-mar, so the 'g' is entirely silent here. At least here in Denmark. I really like the name Dagmar too, since it's a good old royal name here, and I'm a full-blooded Royalist (that's what supporters of the royalty is called in Denmark).{Edit: Added a bit more.}
