Help[Opinions] I had Ave Maria stuck in my head too!

I was looking up all sorts of versions on youtube.
Personally, I think that Ave would be a little strange for a name. For starters, it means 'Hail'. Either the child is to be worshipped or they bring bad weather. : p Second, I think that people would mispronounce it with one syllable way too often. (rhyming it with Abe)
Have you considered something like Eve or Eva? Or possibly a version in another language, like Aoife?
