I know an Ava, but it's not exactly a good association to make with Ava. I like Ava, because it makes me think of Ava Gardner.
I would use something a little out of the ordinary as far as middlenames go for ava. Catherine, Elizabeth, and Grace are names I've seen countless times with this name...

Ava Adelaide
Ava Nathalie
Ava Mathilde
Ava Camille
Ava Therese
Ava Naomi
Ava Penelope
etc.
