It's all right to me, not really my style. But okay.

I like Roman a lot. It reminds me of the character off of Days of Our Lives (an American Soap Opera), but he's a strong man, and that's the connotation it has for me.You could do a lot worse. ;)"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

I don't like Roman. Some celebrity used it, and now it's got that celeb knock-off feel, sadly.I also picture a large man in armour - a Roman soldier rather than just any Roman. It sounds quite harsh to me, and a bit pretentious. Sorry._____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Well-behaved women rarely make history."

It's getting kind of trendy, but I still like it. When my friend gets a new drumset, she wants to name it Roman.

I LOVE the name Roman for a boy. It's one of my faves! My fave combo is Roman Spencer. Anyway, despite the fact that's kind of trendy with the celebrities, at the moment, I think it's a great name.

I really like it actually. I don't think it is the same as naming a kid French or German but I WOULD categorize it with say London, Ireland, Paris, China, or India because they are all place names. Best of the bunch though!

I think it's more like naming a kid Parisian or Washingtonian or Baton Rougian or Chicagan or San Franciscan or Bostonian. In other words, i don't like it. And, I think that it's different than naming a kid after a city. Roman, in effect, actually means person who lives in Rome.

Well . . . German *is* a name, and what about Francis?

I don't mind it. It's quite trendy at the moment though. A lot of celebs have used it.
