[Opinions] Another celebrity baby
Furniture company CEO Alasdhair Willis and designer Stella McCartney have welcomed their third child. Beckett Robert Lee arrived on the January 8th in London.
Beckett joins older siblings Miller Alasdhair James and Bailey Linda Olwyn. Grandpa is, of course, Paul McCartney.
I really like Alasdhair James, but the other names are not my style at all and they don't flow too well for three names.

I can't say I like any of the first names of the sibset at all (though the honoring mn's are fine, imo). But I do find it a bit odd that they now have a Bailey and a Beckett, and those are the names of Melissa Etheridge's kids. And it's not like they're extremely popular names, but unless Stella's just a huge Melissa Etheridge fan, I guess it's just a coincidence. :b
Gracious, Beckett seems to be getting rather popular with wealthy types in both the UK and the USA. It was one of the names mentioned in that article in The Wall Street Journal last summer about people paying consultants large sums of money to help name their kids. :)
I think that sibset works together so well. All the fns are lns, all the mns honor family (well, I really don't know who Robert Lee honors...I'm assuming it's not the General). As for the names themselves, well, Miller, Bailey, and Beckett are really, really precious. Like, too precious (especially Bailey & Beckett). But somehow I'm still really charmed by them. Oh, well.
Ouf, that spelling "Alasdhair" looks bad to me. It doesn't need that H.
Miller, Beckett, and Bailey ... sound like a hardworking lot. I mean, addressing people with surnames like those can make me feel like I'm bossing a servant around.

Lol...next it will be Gatekeeper
