[Opinions] Vesna
Opinions on Vesna? Interesting meaning.

I like it, and I LOVE the meaning.
I love it when names that are dated and boring here (like Vesna, Danica, etc.) are 'discovered' by English speakers and seen as fresh and interesting. All Vesnas I know (and there are plenty of them) are in their 40s or older, so I can't see it on a baby, but I agree, the meaning and the legend is great.

I like it and I suspect I would love it if there wasn't a loud mouthed obnoxious housemate on Australian Big Brother a few years ago. I don't watch the show, but she became an annoying C-grade celeb for months after and she annoyed the hell out of me. I can't shed that association unfortunately :-(
I know a lady with this name, she's Macedonian and very nice.
Just a reminder

Um, no.
1b. Limit yourself to creating no more than 5 new threads per day per board (however you can respond to as many threads as you want).
If you're going to tell someone the rules, at least tell them the rules correctly.

Do you know how to count?

Yes
I do. This is a friendly warning. Most of your posts could be combined to save board space. Why not combine all your posts? It gets annoying when there are three or four posts by you about a single name.
Plus you have gone over in the past. Now if you want to get into a pissing match, too bad. I will not be reading or replying to any of your posts beyond this one.

Siri . . .
I prefer to post individual names for discussion regardless of how annoyed you become about it.
A girl V name I haven't heard before! I like it. It does have a vampish feel to it, but not too much so.
I didn't know Vesna was the Russian goddess of spring. That makes sense because it is the Russian word for spring. ("vyes-NAH")
It's OK. As you say it is interesting. It has a kind of 1920's, vamp-ish quality to it (for me) that is interesting. People might confuse it with Vanessa. But I wouldn't let that stop me if I really liked it.
I've always had a soft spot for Vesta and this has a similar vibe.

slightly reminds me of Vesper, in Casine Royal.
i don't really like it, but i do have a soft spot for Vesper as a GP.

I actually love V names, and this one is right up my alley. I've never really bothered much with meanings (unless something means bloody murderer, it's hard to throw me off a name because of a meaning).
It almost reminds me of Vespa, the scooter, but not quite. It's quirky and uncommon, two traits I like best in a name :)
