I think they are pronounced the same "MA-de-lin". I know I pronounce them the same. Practically all people I know pronounce it Mah-duh-line (I live in England)I thought the mah-duh-lin pronouciation was a USA thing but maybe I'm wrong .. I just don't see how line can be pronounced lin? :)Alice
