I will still take sign-ups, get the form from the link above.
It has been one year since the sign-up round, and you have just welcomed your first child. I decided on the gender, and if it was a singleton or twins, based on the roll of a ten sided die.
Okay. Naming rules are as follows:
-Use the Namebank at the bottom of the post [it’s placed there so you don’t have to scroll up and down]
-If you have already used the name in your family, you may use it on a new child, even if it is not in the Namebank [meaning, if your DH is John William, and you want to name your son William, you can, even if it is not in the Namebank].
-There is a popular name chart, simply the names that have been used the most overall in this congrats. You may use any name off of it at any time [for example, Henry is on the popularity chart. If it were not in the Namebank, then you could still use it]
-No spelling changes please

When I found out I was pregnant, I bought a tiny pair of baby socks. I wrapped them in a cute little box, and gave them to Henry. He was very pleasantly suprised, and we were so happy to be starting a family. Our parents are delighted for us, and are being such a great support. We are getting on well with family life and having a baby in the house, and we have settled Sebastian into a routine. He has my eyes and lips, but Harvey's mouth and hair. We have decorated the nursery in green, with blue gingham curtains and other accessories. We are very happy!

Malachi and Elijah Rosenfield were born 1 1/2 years after Avi and Shiloh were married. Avi was elated that he and Shiloh were going to start a family right away because he always wanted a lot of children. Shiloh wasn't so sure that they were financially ready to take care of a baby, but she was happy nonetheless. When, at 28 weeks, they found out about the twins, both Avi and Shiloh were worried. Neither had twins in their family, but they determined to make the best out of it.
When Avi and Shiloh found out they were expecting twins, they agreed that Shiloh should quit her job. She still gives lessons to a few students, but no longer advertises. She hopes that once the boys start school that she can start teaching full-time. With Shiloh not working anymore, Avi took on more contracts for photography, and he also found a part-time job writing a column for a local magazine about different cultures.
The rest of the pregnancy went well and, at 37 1/2 weeks, identical boys were born. For their names, Avi wanted them to reflect his Jewish heritage, but not be so Jewish-sounding as his own name. Malachi and Elijah seemed like good choices to him. Shiloh wanted to use more conventional names and chose Vincent and Benjamin as middle names for the boys.

She made him dinner, and presented him with his gift. He was surprised (and slightly worried, thinking he missed an important day). When he saw the shoes though, he was ecstatic about becoming a father.
Janis was 4 months along on Thanksgiving, so when they had their families over, they held up two different colored onsies and asked their relatives which one they liked better for the new baby. Everyone was thrilled.
Not long after, they found they wouldn't have to choose between 2 outfits-- they were having twins, a boy and a girl. In April, Janis gave birth to Esme Persephone Maude and Ari Jude Micaiah. Esme was born 6 minutes before Ari.
Larry and Janis haven't gotten a lot of sleep lately, but they are truly loving being parents. They've been talking about having another baby in a few years.
