Help[Opinions] Amber?
I know, I know! Most people have an impression of this name that ranges from vaguely ditsy to downright stripperish. But humour me and try to put that aside for a minute, if you can :-)
S likes Amber a lot, and I'm trying to see whether I can warm to it past the fact that it was overused in the late 80s and 90s and has that ditsy or low-class association. I like the way it sounds and I love the meaning, but the associations worry me.
Is it redeemable because of its soft, sweet sound and by association with the gem? Or is it awful?
