Two years after their elopement Gabe & Shelby decided that they should start a family. After a couple of months of "hard work", Shelby was able to tell Gabe the news he had been hoping for... he was going to be a daddy.

Being 1st time parents both were a mixture of excitement and nerves as the pregnancy progressed. They had originally decided if it was a boy he'd be Jesse Rafferty after Shelby's father and brother, while if it was a girl she'd be Willow Manuela in honour of Gabe's great aunt, Manuela and her stately home, The Willow Glen.

However just days before the arrival of their bundle of joy, tradgey struck their lives as Gabe's army buddy Robin Wallace was KIA. In honour of his good friend Gabe decided that he would somehow name his child after him while trying to honour those others in his life.

So at 1215 on June 30, little Willow Robine West was born, weighing 8lb 3 Ounces with no complications.
