I've always thought the sound of
Myrtle was just lovely. Like
Muriel,
Myrtle is so soft and liquid. And myrtle trees themselves are gorgeous. I guess it's the turtle thing that gets most people hung up.
I know a little
Hadassah who's uner one years old. I call her
Myrtle. I don't think her mother (a friend) likes it much. :-)
Tucked into the mn spot,
Myrtle can't do much harm. But oh, to meet a little fn
Myrtle. Now that would make my day.

I love
Eglantine too. I can't get past the lettuce association with
Lettice, though. Darn my luck. I want to love
Lettice. It's so lacy and delicate. But even typing out, "I want to love
Lettice" just now in my head I'm saying, "I want to love lettuce." *sigh*
