[Opinions] Re: Spanish vs. Trendy Conflict... talked to the hubby, and the results are:
Um... I like Mateo as the first name for a boy. I don't think Aiden fits. What about Mateo Adrian Isaiah. I do like that. As for girls, I love Lucia and I think Lucia Maria is beautiful. ~Lisa~

I do like Lucia, but like I told someone else, he's not nearly as wild about Lucia as he is about Lidia. I really think both names are beautiful. I'd do Lucia Maria, but I really, really, super-duper want a touch of my heritage in there too! Lucia Maria Santos sounds completely Spanish, and I want her other roots to be reflected in her name as well. I am American with a European background... mostly French and Irish. If you think of any other names I could stick in the middle, please let me know! :) I love Irish and English surnames.

Well I do like french names :) And I think they might combine nicely with the Spanish names. I just don't get a good feeling with the irish names and spanish names together. It could be just me?What about:Lucia Genevieve Maria
Lucia Maria Juliette
Lucia Adele Maria
Lucia Aline Maria (Aline is pro. Ah-Lyn and is a varient of Eileen, which is Irish!!, this could be good one, honoring everything)
Lucia Eloise Maria
Lucia Eve Maria
Lucia Gabrielle Maria
Lucia Isabel Maria
Lucia Maria Odette
Lucia Reine Maria
Lucia Maria VianneMy favorite is Lucia Aline Maria :)

I like Genevieve (zhahn-vee-ehv)I was a French minor, so I'm glad I'd be able to pronounce it :) Although, Genevieve sounds horrible in Spanish! In fact, some lady on a Spanish soap opera has that name, and the first time my husband heard it, he laughed for five minutes straight! I think the French version is beautiful.I REALLY like Gabrielle and Isabelle. My favorite French names were always Dominique, Celine, Adrienne, and pretty much anything ending in "elle" My sisters' names all end in "elle" and my name is Noelle :)
