Holy crepes
Suzette -- these aren't all from your family tree, are they? I assume these are names you've come across generally searching French names. But your intro says you jotted them down while searching your own family. If so, then you have the mother-load when it comes to family names. It would be a crime not to use some of these, even if in the mn position.
There are too many for me to list, but the ones that jump out at me, and the ones in particular that I hope you use, are:
Adolphine (poor
Adolph is permanently out of the running as a name, so perhaps the female variant should get a chance at a mn spot -- it's very pretty)
Clemence (why isn't this more popular? It's gorgeous.)
DieudonneEdwige (prefer this, unless yours is a family spelling)
EmileEudoxie
EulalieEuphemie
Euphronsine
Ferdinand /
Fernand /
FernandeGeorgine (another Why Isn't This More Popular kind of name)
Honore (nn
Ray?)
Huguette (adore this one)
LeonieOdileTheophileToussaintZephirin /
Zephyrine (surprisingly, there was a member of the French royal family with the name
Zephyrine -- I would have thought it was too trendy for them, but that's as much as I know. I have a dark, cherry pink "Zephinrine Drouhin" climbing rose in my garden. You could plant one in your Zephirin / Zephirine /
Zephyrine's honor.)
Great list, all around.
