I don't think it's even been too popular. Not unheard of, but not 8 Kellys in the same class.
I think it's pretty. It's one of those names that I like for either sex, but because it is commonly for girls these days, I would not give it to a boy.
I have good associations for Kelly. I've met/know several (male and female) and all have been nice. There was one Amber Kelly that I didn't like at all, but it was only a mn.
