What is the general opinion on Daphne as a first name?
There's a girl in my grade named Daphne and she's really sweet and quite shy, which is how I had always imagined a Daphne would be. She moved here in seventh grade and I was so pleased to know a Daphne.
I've always really liked it but it's growing on me now. I just find it so fresh and feminine.
Is it immediately associated with Scooby Doo for you, and would that be a problem?
