Casey is like Jamie to me. Too feminine for a boy. Yet I don't like it on a girl, because it's not feminine enough for a girl. It's just too in between. Like Darcy, also. They are too girly for a man, and too "butch" for a woman.
I knew slightly a female Casey. She was my sister's niece by marriage. Not any more, I guess, since my sister is now divorced from Casey's uncle. Anyhoo, I saw her when she was six years old and haven't seen her since. She would be twenty-three now.
I knew a male Casey. He was an effeminate homosexual, so he didn't help the name's "too feminine" image for me. NOT saying the name caused his gayness, or anything like that! I know it was a coincidence.
