[Facts] Does anyone know where this name originated?
My name is Eoles. I have never been able to find out for sure where my name originated. I would love to here from anyone that has proof of where the name comes from, and what, if any meaning there is associated with it.

Tell us a bit more about yourself. Are you male or female? Where were you born? What is your ethnic background? Have your parents said anything about where they got your name? All of these things will help us to establish the meaning and origin of your name.

It kind of looks Greek to me and reminds me of the god Aeolus. How is it pronounced? That will give us a better hint on where it comes from.

The pronunciation is e/o/les, long e and o sound.

With that pronunciation, it's almost certainly a respelling of Aeolus. Aeolus itself is quite often spelled as Eolus in English speaking countries. There is a mountain in Colorado called Mount Eolus named after the Greek god of winds:http://www.durango.travel/activities/durango-14ers.htm
