Well, the accent is different, but yeah it's pronounced like
Octavian
. The 'j' is added in many names because Croatian has a phonetic spelling, so every letter that is heard is written, like: Darija,
Mateja
,
Andreja
, Marijo,
Sebastijan
, etc.
