There are a few Spanish names for which I prefer the nicknames rather than the full names.
Rafa
Gonza
Sebas (I do like Sebastián anyway, but I like Sebas better)
Gabi
Enzo (I like Lorenzo quite a bit but... I don't know)
I've grown to like the full names just because I like the nicknames so much, but I still prefer the nicknames.
Bette for a girl but I don't like Elis/zabeth, Bernadette, Babette, Bethany or anything else that would seemingly work as a full name
