I love Nella! It was my great grandmothers name. It is strictly full name for me.
However, I suppose it could be use as a nickname for: Helen, Ellen, Eleanor, Penelope, Fenella, Donatella, Cornelia, Petronella and Prunella.
ETA: Antonella, Donella, Ionela, Janella, Marianela, Nelda, Sanela and Nelinha.
