Erica and Mattie have been dating since their early twenties - they are now 29 and 27 respectively. They are in a civil partnership and live in a one bed flat in Central England.
Year1: Erica and Mattie move to a house in Ainsdale.
Erica (29) and Mattie (27).
Year2: Erica is promoted to Team Leader in her branch. Mattie's little sister, Megan (21) moves in temporarily after finishing University while she finds a place of her own. She stays for three months.
Erica (30) and Mattie (28).

Year3: The couple are excited to find out that Erica is pregnant via a sperm donor. The procedure has led to fraternal twins who are both little girls! When they are born naturally and safely at 38 weeks, TwinA has dark blonde hair and hazel eyes while TwinB has light brown hair and blue eyes. Erica and Mattie call their daughters Rosalinda Leigh and Liliana Rue.

Year4: The family move to a bigger house, with more garden space, in Hartlepool, on the North-east coast of England.
Erica (32) and Mattie (30) with:
Rose & Lily (1).
Year5: Mattie is the one to get pregnant this time. They use the same sperm donor as they used to conceive the twins. This time around Mattie is expecting a boy; he is born at full term with dark blonde hair and hazel eyes. They name him Sydney Alexander.

Rose & Lily (2)
Sydney (nb).
Year6: Erica and Mattie take the big decision to adopt a child. They meet a eight year old boy with dark blonde hair and blue eyes, and fall in love immediately. He has slight behavioural issues which are being addressed with therapy, but as soon as he meets his younger siblings he takes on the role of being a big brother very seriously and develops amazingly. Atticus Sullivan joins the Foster-Strickland clan.
