[Opinions] how do you pronounce Megan?
MAY-gan or MEG-an?Which spelling do you like better? Meghan or Megan? I have always loved this name. It is the name of my SIL (although hers is Meagan, pr. MEE-gan), but I would consider it anyway.wdyt?

Meg-an. I like it spelled both Megan or Meghan. I like the nn Meg for Megan or Margaret.

MEG-an. I've never heard of an English person pronounce it any other way.
MEE-gan sounds far too cutesy, IMO. I always think that MAY-gan sounds very American (which is obviously fine if you ARE American, but I'm not!)

Is it MAY-gan, MEG-an or MEE-gan?Or all three? I am now confused, I though it was pronounced MEG-an."But it’s all right now.

I like Megan, pronounced MEG-an. I have a friend with this name, and we both hate it when people pronouce it MAY-gan. It sounds ugly that way.

I like MAY-gan better. It's more interesting than MEG-an. I've never met a MAY-gan though. As for spelings, Meghan is the best.

Meg-an. I love this name! Two years ago my sister-in-law named her daughter Meghan, but pronounces it "May-gen." That kind of ruins it for me-and I still can't help but call my niece "Meg-an"! That's the way I know the name.

I prefer the spelling Megan and pronounce it MEG-ann. It's a pretty name - quite popular where I live in England.

Kind of a combination of the two...I prefer Megan. It's an ok name, but a bit too common for my taste.

It depends on how fast I say it - the fast I speak the more it sounds like "meg-an".My prefered sp. is Meghan only because when I'm not thinking and just typing, that's how I type it lol Though I've known a dozen different girls with that name and they all spell it differently!
