Over the weekend, we went to my fiancé's family reunion and on the way back we talked about some of the names that have been used in his family and how most of them are pretty boring and all of them have been used way too many times, but eventually I told him that the only name I'd use that I'd found on that side of the family is
Cecil.
It's been used a surprising number of times in his family, but not recently and not as a first name.
(Btw: Great grandfather:
Benedict Daniel Cecil. )
And then I mentioned that the feminine is
Cecilia and he's into that too (but I think I like
Cecelia more? don't know).
Anyway, what do you think of
Cecil?
Cecilia?
We've agreed on
Helena for a first daughter so,
Helena and
Cecil?
Helena and
Cecilia?
(We also both like
Ari for the first boy but I feel like I know what the reaction is going to be).
Combo ideas?
(see-sil, not ses-il)
