What does everyone think of the name Mellan? I just discovered it, and I'm really liking it. I've always adored the nickname Mel, but I dislike Melvin and I don't think I'm the type to use Melchior. I really like the look of Mellan as well as the meaning, but I'm kinda wary of the sound (because it seems to be pronounced identically to the word "melon." Potential problem?)

Also, what would you pair with it? I kind of like the sound of Mellan Josiah, but I'm not sure.
