I can't imagine saying it re-NAY-ta even in English
I'd definitely say Renata re-NAH-ta, but I didn't reply because she didn't ask about Renata - she asked about Renáta, the Hungarian version, which I imagine has a specific pronunciation.

If it's Hungarian, it would be more like REH-nah-tah.
