Hannah is the oatmeal of names. It's good for you, it's nice, but it doesn't really stand out. To be honest though, I see the appeal, I really do. It has a similar feel to
Anna,
Emma, and as someone else said
Sarah... it stands the test of time for this reason.
I do prefer
Hanna or the pronunciation of Hah-nah, which is popular in my hubby's family, probably because of the German/Jewish ancestry.
