I am pretty neutral to this name. It's fine; there's nothing that stands out about it as bad. It has a generally nice sound and isn't difficult to spell.
That said, it is essentially identical to my own name (
Charlotte) in its meaning, as both are feminine forms of names simply meaning "man," so they both essentially mean "woman." I was fascinated with name meanings as a child but always frustrated with the meaning (or lack their of) in my own name. I had siblings who's names meant "star," "fire," and "gift of God," but my name just meant "woman." I felt a little short-changed. It took me years to develop even a begrudging appreciation for my name. I'm not saying that's going to be the experience of everyone with a name like this; it was just my own experience.
