My husband and I are expecting a girl in December and need help with her name. We would like to call her Mattie after my great grandmother, but we'd like a more formal first name with Mattie being her nickname. So far the only names we can think of are Mathilde (which we don't particularly like) or Matalyn (which is too close to our other daughter's name, Adeline). Any ideas? We're thinking we'd like to use either Ellen or Rose as the middle name, if that helps. Thank you in advance!
