I don't mind it in theory but when I say it aloud, it sounds like Shane with a lisp. I actually like it way better than Shane but Shane is more common :(

I knew a few boys named Shane, when I was a child..the local pronounciation was usually Chane (chain,as in something gold or silver you'd wear around you neck).
