The thread below about Charlotte made me think of Charlene and the fact that I always much preferred it over Charlotte. But most people seem to see it as downmarket and dated. What are your opinions on Charlene? I never cared for Charlotte but I love Lottie so I obviously can't get that from Charlene. But I think the full name is very sweet. Opinions on Charlene? Do you like Charlie as a nn? What about Lottie (on its own or as a nn for Charlotte, Charlotta, Carlotta)?
