[Opinions] Re: Gaia
It's alright, not one of my favourites. I haven't heard it pronounced like that before, only as GUY-a, to rhyme with Maia which I preferhttp://www.behindthename.com/pnl/167578

GUY-a and GAH-ya sound exactly the same to me, when I say them quickly. I would also describe Maia's pronunciation as MAH-ya.

Hi Perrine!GAH-ya, GIE-ah, GAY-ə, GUY-ah...I have the same problem !!!
When people write the pronounciation! So I go in the guide but.. it is confusing as well!I asked if there would be a chance to add a file audio for every name with the pronounciation instead of that we have but...nobody answer me.Byeeeeeeeee

I'm English, those are two completely different pronunciations to me!

Really? The GAH part is really short in GAH-ya. If I say it quickly it sounds like GUY-a.

No, really not. Sounds completely different (mind you when I saw your first post I imagined 'ah' to be a long a sound, more like I suppose you would say 'aw')

Hahaha -ah would indicate a short sound for me :P But do you really separate the Y and the first syllable so much? I mean would it sounds like the word guy with an A but with a pause? GUY-a? Sounds so odd to me unless you say it quickly and then to me it sounds like GAH-ya but with a short ah, maybe more like GUY-ya or GIE-a ahhh I can't explain this very well :P

Hi !!!!Good choice Perrine!
The only thing is add an audio pronounciation...for all names!Every name has "pronounced" but also with the guide is too confusing. And also some names has not that at all.https://www.comesipronuncia.it/pronuncia/gaia-3664
In this one the voice seems human lolByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
