My research shows that the original term was Erario. The Italian word meaning tax collecter.
Then the term/name evolved to L' Erario
Then the name changed to Lebario when the southern half of present day Italy became part of Spain.(Which a lot of historians have forgotten).
That is how a lot of Spainards with Italian names first arrived to the Americas.
Lastly, you can see in census that the name changed to the presnt day spelling
"Levario" during the time when the Spanish language began replacing many of their terms/letter's from b to using the letter v in many of their words.
