My daughter had a childhood friend named Rhonda who was born approximately when my daughter was, the early 1980s. I always found her name a little jarring because it had fallen from popularity by the time she was born. No, not "refreshing." "Jarring".
Anyway, I think it's ugly and I can only think of The Beach Boys song "Help Me Rhonda". Now I love The Beach Boys in general, but not that song. It's annoying.
